While your apple cider is reducing, heat oven to 350 degrees F
Mix apple cider, egg, butter, brown sugar, cane sugar in large bowl with stand mixer or hand mixer until fully incorporated.
In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves. Slowly add to wet mixture. Batter will be thicker than traditional cake batter.
Spoon mixture into donut pan cavities. A piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner snipped off is useful here, but not necessary.
Bake for 12 minutes or until donut bounces back when lightly pressed.
